An ethics expert calls the suspensions of Hillhouse High School Principal Kermit Carolina and other New Haven school staffers allegedly involved in grade and credit tampering “almost a vacation,” noting how some other educators embroiled in cheating cases around the country have lost their jobs.
In an Illinois case, a teacher not only lost her job, but faced a criminal charge in a grade tampering incident.
